The Ontario Makers and Mentors Innovation Conference organizing committee is made up a group of dedicated students from the University of Ottawa who want to promote project based collaborative learning, innovative design and higher technical education.
We aim to highlight the challenges Makers endure globally while innovating, and bridge the gap between makers world wide by connecting them through new technology. The conference will take place from October 26th to October 28th, 2018 in our Nation’s Capital. Projected attendance is estimated to be 200 people, with our main demographics to include educators, teachers, young entrepreneurs, makers, and students ranging from elementary to university levels across the world.
Why Sponsor Us?
The Ontario Makers and Mentors Innovation Conference will be an excellent opportunity for companies and organizations to market to our two main demographics; mentors and makers. Mentors include teachers and educators looking to build Makerspaces and promote technology through education. Makers are students or members of the public who like to build, design and tinker. During the conference, a design competition will be hosted to inspire creativity and innovation in participants.
